About Artist
Ana Koss is a contemporary mixed media artist based in Seoul, South Korea.
Exploring the notions of time, change, perception and human relationship to space and science, Ana creates paintings and sculptural pieces using both traditional means such as acrylic, oil and clay, as well as alternative media such as mirror tile mosaic, golden and silver foil, etc.
Inspired by scientific research, teaching of Buddhism, and the artistic style of Antonio Gaudi with his adoption of natural shapes into the human environment, Ana is also bringing the sense of balance and understanding of unavoidable constant transition that happens in natural world into our everyday spaces.
