A sculptural study of gravity, transformation, and inevitability — Event Horizon / Black Hole captures the threshold where light, matter, and meaning collapse into silence.

This piece features a wavy, spherical form made of black mirrored tiles, set against a luminous gold leaf background. The contrast between reflective darkness and radiant gold evokes the paradox of the black hole: a force that consumes everything, yet defines the shape of the universe itself.

At the event horizon — the boundary of no return — change becomes absolute. What enters cannot escape, yet in that annihilation lies the possibility of renewal. This work reflects on the pull of inevitability and the quiet beauty within surrender.

중력과 변형, 불가피함을 탐구한 조각적 연구로, Event Horizon / Black Hole은 빛과 물질, 의미가 고요 속으로 붕괴되는 순간의 경계를 포착합니다.

작품은 검은 거울 타일로 제작한 물결 모양 구체를 금박 배경 위에 배치하였으며, 반사되는 어둠과 빛나는 금빛의 대비를 통해 블랙홀의 역설 — 모든 것을 삼키면서도 우주의 형태를 규정하는 힘 — 을 드러냅니다.
