One of series of works made with dried fig leaves, each preserving the subtle traces of growth — veins, membranes, and fragile edges marking moments in time.

Finished with golden leaf, the surface illuminates memory without hierarchy: some moments shimmer, others remain quiet, all held with care.

Tropical yet familiar, the fig leaves reflect presence tinged with gentle otherness, like the author’s experience of living in a place that feels like home yet subtly foreign.

This series meditates on memory as intimate and enduring, a vessel of time quietly carried within.

재료: 목패널 위 모조 금박, 건조 무화과 잎, 아크릴

건조한 무화과 잎으로 만든 작은 작품 시리즈로, 각각의 성장 흔적 — 잎맥, 섬세한 막, 여린 가장자리 — 이 시간 속의 순간들을 고요히 담고 있다.

금박으로 마감한 표면은 기억을 서열 없이 드러낸다. 어떤 순간은 반짝이고, 어떤 순간은 조용히 남아 있지만 모두 정성껏 간직된다.

열대적이지만 낯설지 않은 무화과나무 잎들은 존재감을 지니면서도 부드러운 이질감을 담는다. 이는 작가 경험과 마치 집처럼 느껴지지만 미묘하게 낯선 공간에서 살아가는 경험과 닮아 있다.

이 시리즈는 기억을 친밀하고 오래 지속되는 것으로 명상하며, 시간을 담는 그릇처럼 조용히 간직한다.
